Principal's Corner

Welcome to the Nottingham CAJT Principal's Corner

Happy 2016-2017 School Year! I would like to formally introduce myself as Principal Kimberly Long of Nottingham CAJT High School. I’ve previously held positions as the Special Education Dept. Head/Vocational Adjustment Counselor and Reading Specialist at Nottingham. It’s with great honor and pleasure that I’m charged to work with staff, students, parents, and community members in a moving our school forward to turn great into awesome!

We are going to have a magnificent year! Nottingham received the distinct honor of being named a 2016 Missouri National School of Character, and we intend to continue the tradition of having great character, as well as focus our efforts on our school’s mission of students having a successful transition from school to work. Nottingham is looking forward to an increased usage of technology in classrooms to foster more student-centered learning and new partnerships with community organizations that will allow job training and work for students after high school if needed. If you have questions or would like to know more about our program, don’t hesitate to contact me at 314-481-4095.

School Data

Nottingham CAJT

    April 20, 2017

    Dear Families,

Saint Louis Public Schools was recently notified that one of our vendor companies, Schoolzilla PBC, experienced an information security incident earlier this month that affected many of their customers, including our district. Schoolzilla immediately fixed the issue and informed us. We have no reason to believe that the incident will impact students or their information, and you do not need to take any action.

The information included basic student information but did NOT include social security numbers (SSNs). In keeping with FERPA guidelines, the District does not maintain student SSNs.

We want to assure you that we are taking this incident very seriously and have put measures in place to limit the type of data shared with such vendors in the future.

If you have further questions, contact Colette Owens, Director of Academic Strategy and Special Projects at SLPS: or 314-345-4570, visit or reach out directly to the Schoolzilla team at

    Dr. Kelvin R. Adams

New Vaccination Required! Before our 7th grade and 11th grade students start 8th and 12th grade (respectively) in 2016-17, they must receive a vaccine against meningitis, an infection of the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

Students entering 8th grade must also receive the Tdap vaccine, so parents can get them done during the same visit to the doctor. If your student going into the 12th grade received the first meningitis immunization at age 16 or later, a second one will not be needed. Otherwise, two are required for 12th grade students. Please have this immunization done as soon as possible, and make sure your School Nurse receives a copy. Please contact your School Nurse or the Nurse Coordinator at 314-345-4401 for questions.
